Meimi is an attractive Japanese girl of average height, with blue eyes. She wears her brown hair past her shoulder-blades and straight, with two locks tied into pigtails. Her breasts, at size G, are as big as her head, and produce milk when squeezed. This milk has magical properties. Youkai are attracted to it, and even some human wizards seek it as an ingredient for magical potions.
She seldom wears pants, prefering skirts. In combat she wears an orange leotard with a low front, enchanted to be durable against both physical and magical attacks, and easy to move in. She also wears matching thigh-high boots and elbow-length gloves.
The 101st generation of a family of youkai hunters, Meimi has a difficult legacy to live up to. For centuries her family has been among the finest defenders of humanity against supernatural threats. But recently that fine reputation has been tarnished.
It began with her mother, Kazumi, who left a young Meimi in her grandmother's care to battle the youkai in the great uprising of 1996. Her mission was a failure, and she was captured by the youkai. By the time she was rescued a year later, she'd returned quite mad, and also quite pregnant, with Meimi's hanyou half-sister.
Meimi was brought up by her grandmother, Yoko, instead. Yoko had been a formidable warrior in her youth, and trained Meimi strictly and sternly. Unfortunately the task was great; for all she tried, Meimi just wasn't cut out to be a warrior. She was clumsy and a bit of an airhead. Nevertheless, the girl had to be a warrior: tradition aside, Meimi simply attracted youkai. Deciding she wasn't learning satisfactorly, Yoko sent Meimi to Tokyo to train with the miko at the new shrine.
